Documents Required for Legal Metrology Registration
- The validity of an LMPC certificate is five years. The LMPC import license must be renewed before the expiry period to avoid hassle during customs clearance
- To renew an LMPC certificate, the applicant must submit an application to the appropriate Legal Metrology Department at least 30 days prior to the expiry date of the original certificate. The application must be accompanied by the required fee and documentation
- Once the application is approved, the applicant will be issued a new LMPC certificate with a validity of five years.
